One Sure Way To Hear God Laugh Is To Announce Your Plans

If this is true, I have been keeping the good lord in stitches.

Some of you may think I am in New York, others may think I am in New Jersey and others yet may think I am still in Carrboro, happily teaching America’s youth how to play guitar, the rest of you may not give a solitary shit.

Can’t say I blame you.

Truth is, I am in Chapel Hill. I did go to New Jersey to get ready to go to New York but at the very last second, I changed my mind.  All told, I was away exactly one month.

Why, might you ask did I decide to travel the most cock-eyed circle in the history of polygons?

Well, that is for me to know and for you to find out. For if I were to tell, the Almighty may hit the floor rolling and have another hearty guffaw at the expense of yours truly.

That being said, I do have few li’l plans that may squeak past my lips in favor of the big one.  Hedging my bets I s’pose.  A little compromise ‘tween me and the tiled walls of the shower.

The point is I am back.

I am quite happy to be so and I am currently working diligently on a new record that will shed a little light on the past few months and all of my silly machinations hitherto. I am also in the process of assembling a new (and old) batch of Orange County Volunteers to help me through the rigors of singin’ my songs…plans.

Shhh!  hear that? It sounds like chuckles from another dimension.

So yeah, welcome to this here blog and check back often…

Your Pal,

Joe

  1. At least we were able to hangout twice when you were up here.

  2. Sounds like you had a great time in NJ! Well, anyway, I’m glad to hear that you’re back. Hey, if you’re still lookin’ for some volunteers, I may be interested in being one. Though, all I think I’d be helpful in would be some backup singin’ and maybe some guitar strummen’.
